Set of 3 Danish Modern Teak Nesting Tables With Ceramic Tile Tops

$695.00

A set of three Danish modern nesting side tables in teak with ceramic tile inset tops, a practical and visually warm combination that the Danish furniture makers of the 1960s and 70s perfected.

The tile tops on these tables are not purely decorative, they serve a practical purpose, allowing you to place hot or wet items directly on the surface without damaging the wood. It's a thoughtful detail that says something about how seriously Danish designers took the idea of furniture that actually works in daily life.

The frames are solid teak with the characteristic rounded corner joinery and straight legs of the period. The wood has been refinished but we deliberately kept the original patina rather than stripping it back to something that looks new. The grain still shows the warmth and variation of sixty-year-old teak, and the colour has the depth that only comes from age.

The ceramic tile tops are in great condition. The tiles have the warm sandy-beige tone and slight surface variation of hand-made ceramic, consistent across all three tables and in good vintage condition.

The three tables nest cleanly together and can be pulled apart and used individually around a room.
