Originally designed in 1904 for Glasgow's Willow Tea Rooms, this is one of those chairs that was iconic before "iconic" was even a word people used about furniture. Atelier International brought it stateside, solid ash frame, tall ladder back, upholstered seat and suddenly you could have a piece of Scottish architectural history in your living room without the transatlantic flight. Put it by a desk, in a corner, anywhere really. It will immediately become the most interesting thing in the room, and it will do absolutely nothing to hide it.

High quality vintage European reproduction, circa 1960s–1980s, owner acquired fit rom a Chicago vintage dealer in the 1990s.
